developed 420,000sf of roadways and lay down areas, and installed nine-miles of pipe. The site was previously used as an auto wrecking yard, deeming storm water runoff containment and erosion control critical. Once temporary detention ponds were excavated, a custom pump system was designed, conveying stormwater to a central location to be treated before being released into the storm system. This method allowed us to save on the overall number of treatment systems, adding operation efficiency and saving project dollars. Our erosion control measures were used as a model project by the Washington Department of Ecology, which was then used as a training site for their compliance inspectors.
