Due to the limited access of the downtown location and the 50-foot depth of excavation, a custom conveyer belt system was procured to transport excavated soils to a centralized truck loading zone located on Bellevue’s busy NE 10th Street. The system selected consisted of two 42-inch conveyors comprising 220-LF, a truck load hopper, a variable speed conveyor hopper and centralized operator control center.
